We stayed at this nice hotel in downtown Bangkok. We knew we didn't have much time so we went here. I don't remember what it was called. it was beautiful. Every inch of the massive temple complex was covered in intricate gold tiles. The colors were beautiful. There were monks with white robes walking in procession carrying sacred relics. And a massive jade Buda that we were not allowed to take pictures of. We wore these audio guides that were very informative. The marble floors were from Italy. I thought that was strange. some things never change I guess. It was refreshing to see such devotion by the hands that built this place. I couldn't help but think 'thank you' over and over again in my mind. I loved my pictures. I'll never forget that place.
